Tualatin Police Catch Cell Phone Peeper

Tualatin police remind citizens to be constantly aware of their surroundings, and vigilant in reporting suspicious activity.

(TUALATIN, Ore. ) - Tualatin police have arrested a man they say was photographing a nude female with his cell phone.

Tualatin police spokesman Sgt. Greg Pickering said police were called to Island Tanning, located at 7552 SW Nyberg Road, Tuesday afternoon, after the female victim reported to an employee that she caught someone holding a cell phone over the top of the partition where she was tanning.

The victim yelled at the subject, who quickly left the area. The victim contacted an employee, who used the businesses video surveillance system to help identify the suspect.

Tualatin police later arrested 34-year-old David Allen Rose of Tigard. Rose was charged with Invasion of Personal Privacy, a Class A Misdemeanor, and was cited and released.
