(Earth-Prime?) - Coaches whose jobs depend on their team having a winning season select which players make the team. With increasing pressures to link teacher pay with their students' test scores teachers might justly demand the same process. Can we insist that teachers take every child, no matter their background, and base the teacher's pay on the resulting test scores? The public at large doesn't understand the nature of our schools' populations, nor what many of the young are up against. Read on and experience the frustration of a teacher who is unable to pay his creditors because of society's ills.

Good fortune to you S. LaMarche. Unfortunately each example of "credit" is not hypothetical. They're all examples of what I've seen as a teacher. There were others which space did not permit. Unbelievable horrors which young people endure.

I'm thanking the teachers throughout my educational trail. I'd not be on the net or give much of a damn about anything if not for parents and school teachers that did give a damn. Thanks Leo. I'm still learning. I am motivated to be usefully educated. "Choke Dee" means good fortune in Thai, a foreign language I'm presently studying.,so "choke dee".
