The Egyptian Second Revolution Cometh

A revolution isn't finished until changes are implemented

(TAHRIR SQUARE, Cairo, Egypt) - People in the U.S. frequently make inquiries about the future of the people who gave so much to bring this revolution onto the world map.

Tahrir Square is now synonymous with the resistance of oppressive governments that make deals on the backs of their own citizens.

Today everyone returned to this historic place and they did so to make a major statement about their ambitions for a free Egypt that will be rid of dictators and military thugs who strike out and kill those who dare speak against them.

As the video shows, demonstrators had their own system in place to ensure that no weapons were being brought to the square. They are taking the necessary steps to prove to the world that their campaign is one of non violence.

The martyrs of Cairo's Tahrir Square made a statement to the world that literally started a fire in people's hearts. Soon other countries reeling under political and economic oppression began speaking out, taking bullets.

Less than two weeks ago it happened in Palestine, as the Palestinians and their supporters of all faiths from all parts of the world remembered the Nakba, marking the tragedy of Palestinian oppression that began in 1948.

Ken O'Keefe is a former U.S. Marine who served in the 1991 Gulf War and subsequently spoke out about the use of depleted uranium as a "crime against humanity" and the US military using soldiers as "human guinea pigs" with experimental drugs that were directly linked to Gulf War syndrome. He is also a social entrepreneur utilizing direct action marine conservation, he is more widely known for leading the human shield action to Iraq and as a survivor of the Israeli attack on the MV Mavi Marmara in which he participated in "defending the ship" and "disarming two Israeli Commandos". On January 7, 2004, O'Keefe burned his US passport in protest of "American Imperialism" and called for US troops to immediately withdrawal from Iraq. He replaced his US passport with a "World Passport", subsequently proclaiming himself a "Citizen of the World" with “ultimate allegiance to my entire human family and to planet Earth."
