(ALOHA, Ore.) - The Washington County Sheriff's Office is investigating a car crash with gunshots involved that left one man dead. Sunday at around 1:30 AM, Washington County deputies responded to the intersection of SW 206th Avenue and SW Francis Street on a report of a car crash.

Deputies say that when they arrived, they found an orange 2000 Dodge Neon crashed in the middle of the road. There were no other vehicles around. A spokesman for the sheriff's office says the deputies found a man later identified as 27 year old Constantino Cruz from Aloha sitting in the driver's seat.

The preliminary investigation shows Mr. Cruz was suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital where he later died.

The Washington County Major Crimes Team says is continuing their investigation, as detectives and forensic investigators follow up on leads and evidence.

They say there are no suspects at this time. If anyone has any information concerning this incident they are urged to call the Washington County Sheriff's Office at 503-846-2700.
