(SACRAMENTO) - A Kickstarter campaign has been launched by Salem-News.com's Bob O'Dowd to fund the first published edition of our new book, BETRAYAL: TOXIC EXPOSURE OF U.S. MARINES, MURDER & COVER-UP, currently on Amazon Kindle.

This is a very exciting announcement, as we believe that the book is one of the best tools for reaching the one million plus Marines and sailors and civilians who lived and worked about the former El Toro Marine Corps Air Station in southern California, as well as those who serve or served at the Camp Lejeune Marine Corps base in North Carolina.

Many have contracted cancer and other diseases from their exposure to toxic water at the bases. Many are no longer with us, but those who are, particularly El Toro Marines, for the most part have no idea that they were exposed to chemicals like TCE (trichloroethylene) and benzene and other lethal agents.

We believe those who are informed have a much better chance of dealing with any illnesses they experience with the information contained in BETRAYAL: TOXIC EXPOSURE OF U.S. MARINES, MURDER & COVER-UP.

Death of a Marine Whistleblower

The book also examines the highly questionable death of Marine Colonel James Sabow, whose 'suicide' has been widely exposed by experts as a murder. Col Sabow blew the whistle on U.S. government drug shipments that were being flown into El Toro in the middle of the night 'off the books'.

It is a riveting story, the Colonel's brother, David Sabow M.D., is a practicing physician who has been a burr in the saddle of the government, we hope the book exposes the true motivations behind his death, which includes photos doctored by the forensic team that took control of Col Sabow's body after his death.

The goal of the Kickstarter campaign is to raise $15,000, this will cover the cost of the first run of books that will in turn be sent to relevant politicians and media.

God bless and Semper fi.
