(SALEM, Ore.) - Marion County Sheriff's deputies say the “Figaros” Pizza parlor at 4688 Portland Road NE was robbed by a single white male adult today, at approximately 5:00 PM. Sgt. Chris Melgard with the Sheriff's Office says the suspect was armed with what appeared to be a firearm and a stabbing weapon. He says the suspect, "confronted employees with the weapons and threatened them should they not cooperate." The suspect then obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and witnesses say he fled the location on foot. Melgard says he was then seen leaving the area in what is described as a “black low-rider Cadillac”. No one was injured during the robbery. The suspect is described as a white male adult in his early 20’s. He was of thin stature, and approximately 5’10” in height. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweat-shirt, a red t-shirt and jeans. Melgard says the investigation in to this incident continues. "Should anyone have information as to the possible identity and/or location of the suspect they are encouraged to contact the Marion County Sheriff’s Office at 503-588-5071."
