Be Aware! Salem - Polk County Road Construction Report

Road work on Doaks Ferry Road in West Salem this week could have delays of up to 20 minutes.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - The City of Salem Public Works Department and Polk County want you to Be Aware! of road construction project that are set to begin this week.

Please! make a note of these projects, and if your commute takes your through one of these workzones Please! Slow Down, and expect some long delays.

Use alternate routes if possible.

Salem Road Construction Report:

River Rd S Between Croisan Creek Road S and Homestead Road S. Monday and Tuesday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

River Road S between Croisan Creek Road S and Homestead Road S will be reduced to one lane of traffic with flaggers. This closure is for work on a new development.

Skyline Rd S Between Davis Rd S and Maplewood Dr S. 6/4 to 6/22, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Skyline Road S between Maplewood Drive S and Davis Road S will be reduced to one lane of traffic with flaggers. This closure is for installation of sewer lines for new development. Expect some delays at this location.

Hyacinth St NE at the intersection of Salem Industrial Dr NE. 6/4 to 8/1, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Lane narrowed for installation of new traffic signal.

Polk County Road Construction Report:

The following roads will be affected by some type of construction work or paving between the hours of 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM.

Orchard Heights Road will have shoulder rock work done on Monday, June 4th through Friday, June 8th. Pilot cars will be used and travelers should expect minor delays.

Orchard Heights Place will have shoulder rock work done on Monday, June 4th through Friday, June 8th. Pilot cars will be used and travelers should expect minor delays.

Doaks Ferry Road will be paved from Hwy 22 to Eola Drive NW on Monday, June 4th through Tuesday, June 5th. Pilot cars will be used and travelers should expect up to a 20-minute delay.

Hwy 22 will be reduced to one lane heading westbound between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM and no access will be available to Doaks Ferry Road. Eola Drive NW will be paved from Doaks Ferry Road to the end of the pavement on Monday, June 4th through Tuesday, June 5th. Pilot cars will be used and travelers should expect up to a 20-minute delay.

Rogers Road will continue to have shoulder rock work done on Monday, June 4th through Friday, June 8th. Pilot cars will be used and travelers should expect minor delays.

Greenwood Road - South will continue to have shoulder rock work done on Monday, June 4th through Friday, June 8th. Pilot cars will be used and travelers should expect minor delays.

Doaks Ferry Road will have shoulder rock work done on Monday, June 4th through Friday, June 8th. Pilot cars will be used and travelers should expect minor delays.

Eola Drive NW will have shoulder rock work done on Monday, June 4th through Friday, June 8th. Pilot cars will be used and travelers should expect minor delays.

Brush College Road will be paved from Zena Road to the Salem city limits on Wednesday, June 6th through Friday, June 8th. Pilot cars will be used and travelers should expect up to a 20-minute delay.
