Israeli Forces Assault Youth; Conduct Armed Incursions Into Gaza and Destroy 100-Year Old Building

Latest government news releases from Gaza.

Israeli settlers destroy a Palestinian home
This is a common and typical scene in Palestine; Israeli settlers have been stealing and destroying the homes of Palestinian families for settlements for over six decades.

(SALEM / GAZA CITY) - Tensions between Israel's military and civilians in Gaza and other parts of Palestine are running high; the century old Silwan Center was destroyed by Israeli occupational forces; as the right wing government of Benjamin Netanyahu has been pushing every button to escalate conflict.

Another child was severely beaten by Israeli soldiers; in the event the beating was described as 'viscous'. These cases have been on the rise as adult, heavily armed and equipped Israeli soldiers continue to attack and molest and physically assault young children simply because of the fact that they are Palestinian.

Gaza has been the seen of military tank incursions from the Israeli occupational forces. This, in a place already surrounded by apartheid separation walls on three sides and the Israeli Navy's armed gunboats on the other.

The Egyptian border has also been the scene of increasing bloodshed. Israeli forces attack at will and there are almost never any casualties on the Israeli side.

In a rare and tragic event this week, six Israeli tourists were murdered in a bomb blast; this is a terrible situation, Israelis are outraged, yet Israeli forces frequently terminate the lives of six or more Palestinians, in a single day on a routine basis.

The following reports offer a good idea of what has been taking place; they are presented courtesy of Ezzedeen AL-Qassam Brigades - Palestine -The military wing of the Islamic resistance movement Hamas

100 Year Old Silwan Building Destroyed by Israel

Settlers seize Palestinian building in Silwan area, displace
Qara'ein family.

Occupied Jerusalem - The Israeli Municipality of Jerusalem demolished a Palestinian building in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan on Wednesday, according to WAFA news.

Jawad Siyam, director of Wadi Hilweh information center in Silwan said that the pretext for the demolition was building without a permit. However, the 16-square-meter facility is 100 years old and has been used to house livestock.

After demolishing the building, the Israelis then seized the cattle and birds being warehoused there and fined the owner.

On Tuesday, the Israeli army raided Al Qanoub area in Sa'ir, eastern Al Khalil and issued a demolition order on two cisterns used to irrigate land for the benefit of twenty people, of whom more than half are children.

Palestinian teen hospitalized after beating by Israeli soldiers

Move cursor to 1:15 to see Israeli soldiers attack a small
boy. From the report: 9-Year Old Child Accosted and
Kicked by Israeli Soldier
. This occurred just days ago.

Al Qassam (Agencies)- West Bank- A teenager from a Bethlehem village was seriously injured two days ago when Israeli soldiers beat him during an arrest raid, a lawyer for the Palestinian Ministry of Prisoners Affairs told a local agency.

Mahmoud al-Badan, 17, from Tuqu village said that he was viciously beaten, blindfolded and handcuffed by Israeli soldiers before taking him into custody Saturday night. His lawyer, Hussein al-Sheikh said after speaking with him that he was beaten with sharp objects and taken to a nearby health center.

He was later transferred to Jerusalem’s Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital. Doctors there found the teen had bruising to the head and a broken jaw. Israeli forces then brought al-Badan back to prison.

Al-Sheikh said that he has consulted the ministry of prisoners as well as Doctors Without Borders and the Red Cross about the incident.

It is not clear how Americans continue to look the other way while this endless abuse of children by Israeli government forces continues unabated. It is so thoroughly documented, yet completely ignored as a subject, spare a handful of brave activists willing to represent these children whose problems are based on being born on the wrong side of a political border.

It's easy to say it's not true, if you don't see it in your newspaper. Israël is the no.1 threat to world peace, no doubt in my mind.

This article is foolishness, one sided and packed with untruth. You never mention the 200 rockets fired into Israel from Gaza in June. I'm sure you'll have a cute answer Mr. King. I'm surprised this site allows you to place articles here, you must own it.

Tim King: I am the founder of  Salem-News.com and yes, freedom of the press belongs to those who own one.

Tim King: I know you would like to be able to kill them quietly, we always will be in the way when it comes to that.
