Jul-14-2010 05:02TweetFollow @OregonNews Extremely Powerful Video: 'Even The Troops Are Waking Up'Tim King Salem-News.com"We were told we were fighting terrorists, the real terrorist who's me and the real terrorism is this occupation..."
(SALEM, Ore.) - Do you consider yourself pro-war? Watch this video and then answer that question again. It is likely to change. The intensity of a combat veteran turned anti-war can be serious. Not because of anger or loud words, but because of the credibility for having bore witness to the ultimate trick, the deadliest game. If you don't know, the average front line soldier or Marine is very young. There are the hardened NCO's, sometimes they are 20 or 21. Some stay in the game but the problem for the war industry is that all too many grow up and realize what a tragic mistake they have made with their lives. The recognition of that reality can be key for some veterans; as embracing the truth helps almost all people heal from their wounds, even those that are not visible. It made me very sad to watch this video and hear the words and it reminded that the little I have seen of our tragic wars overseas; a few weeks in Iraq, a couple of months in Afghanistan, can raise a lot of doubt in your mind about the overall notion of war being a sound idea. I can't imagine being in the military and going back again and again always for at least six months, usually twice that long on a single deployment. This video by Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW) features Mike Prysner: *****************************************Tim King is a former U.S. Marine with twenty years of experience on the west coast as a television news producer, photojournalist, reporter and assignment editor. In the mid '90's this type of name calling and hateful talk became common place when those reality shows started up. I was pretty shocked when I saw them and and still shocked that people will write such hateful things. I would suggest that the editor refuse to print anything that is violent or hateful. Name calling certainly is that. Suggestions of violence only further send the message that this type of communication is acceptable. It really is not a laughing matter. What good it it to see this trash? It causes pollution of minds so to speak.

Wars should always be fought to win...immediately. It is the far left loons who have always raised the casualty rate (going back to Vietnam) who have interjected propaganda based on their misinterpretation of what's going on in the environment. From John Kerry of 40 years ago to John Kerry of today, people of his ilk can always influence those who generally are incapable of understanding what's going on in the world. The far left needs to be rounded up and removed from Western Civilization. Send them to sub-Saharan Africa where they can just wither and die for they are incapable of doing anything other than living off the blood and toil of the rest of us. They are parasites.
Editor: Well thank God we have people like this to show us who the warmongers are. I can tell you from his past posts that this SOB is highly racist also, but good for an occasional laugh.
