ISIS Seeks to Divert Quds Intifada

(SALEM, Ore.) - Mufti of Quds and the Al-Aqsa Mosque speaker, Sheikh Mohammed Hussein, warned that ISIS's hidden hands are trying to divert the Palestinian nation's intifada from its route.

According to one Palestinian news agency, the Mufti emphasized that ISIS was created by Western powers. Sheikh Mohammed Hussein said ISIS is no Islamic group, but its followers are criminals who have lost their way and Israel, America and Britain have fabricated it.

He also added that ISIS is a Zionist tool aimed at engaging Muslims and leading the Muslim world's attitude away from Palestine and its sanctity.

The Mufti of Quds also said that situations in Quds are getting worse day by day with Israeli greed against Islamic sanctities worsening increasingly, and in the meantime, Israel has abused the opportunity trying to bring Judaization to the entire land of Palestine, while Muslims and Arabs are engaged by ISIS and their internal situations.

He also added: "I believe ISIS is a Zionist tool and that Zionists are behind their actions in order to, on the one hand, distort the image of Islam with these efforts, and on the other hand, provide for anti-Islamic activities and leading the Palestinian resistance astray."
