Amber Alert For Infant and His Mom Issued in Tempe Arizona

(TEMPE, Ariz.) - An Amber Alert was issued for a 7-month old Arizona Boy Today, January 22, 2009, at 2:09 PM Central Time.

The State of Arizona issued the Amber Alert this afternoon after the child and his mother were abducted in Tempe.

"The suspect is armed and considered dangerous," officials in Arizona said.

"He has a history of suicide attempts and is armed with two hand guns. The boy's mother was also abducted."

Joseph Muna is a 7-month old Hispanic male. The suspect is 23-year old Salvador Muna, an Hispanic male, six feet tall, 275 pounds with short brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing jeans with no shirt.

The suspect vehicle is a blue Ford Taurus, four door, with Arizona license plate 638 XNF.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Tempe Police Department at 800-646-2475 or dial 911.
