(SALEM, Ore.) - General Yoav Mordechai, the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT), reportedly met with the President of the Palestinian Authority, expressing his thanks to the Palestinian security agencies for appropriate coordination and cooperation with the Israel Intelligence Services by providing them useful information.

Officially, he thanked Major General Nidal Abu Dukhan, commander of the Palestinian national security forces, for his efforts in controlling the (suppression) Intifada in the West Bank.
