(OCCUPIED PALESTINE PNN) - On Tuesday 25th December, Israeli Supreme Court issued a decision that bans Palestinian political prisoners inside Israeli jails from pursuing their education at the Palestinian Al-Quds Open University. The court's Judge, Asher Grunis, said in his decision that the prisoner's right to education is not included in the Israeli law. He also said that even if the Israeli Prison Service (IPS) allows for criminal prisoners to study at the Open University, where the political prisoners are stripped from this right; it doesn't considered an unlawful discrimination.
