(HAPPY VALLEY, Ore.) - Clackamas County Deputy Sheriff's responded to an alert of a man exposing himself that had just reportedly occurred at the Goodwill Store, located at 11424 SE 82nd Avenue, in Happy Valley, Sunday at 6:30 p.m. Detective Jim Strovink, Clackamas Sheriff's Office Spokesman, says officers arrived and located 47-year old Bryon Earl Huff who was arrested and transported to the Clackamas County Jail. Strovink says the reported public indecency that had just occurred inside the Goodwill Store, involved an 8-year-old, female victim. "Investigating deputies interviewed the 8-year old victim on scene with an accompanying parent and located the suspect identified as Bryon Earl Huff; who was to be found on the premises and investigated by deputy Sheriff's," Strovink said. "The victim was not physically harmed during this alleged incident. In addition, as a result of this investigation Bryon Huff was discovered to be in possession of a glass pipe, which contains suspected methamphetamine residue and was retained as evidence." Strovink says that during this investigation, Huff was found to be wearing black sweat pants – with the crotch altered – stitched in a fashion to accommodate easy access to his genitalia. "Investigators discovered that this specialized tailoring and alteration of his trousers was the preferred method used by Huff to help avoid detection while conducting a mission to expose himself to young female victims," Strovink stated. The altered black sweat pants worn by Huff during this most recent arrest have also been retained as evidence according to Strovink. Records indicate that Bryon Earl Huff has at least 21 prior arrests; which includes 2 prior convictions for public indecency. Huff has also been previously arrested for controlled substance and driving offenses. Bryon Huff is charged with first-degree Public Indecency, first-degree Possession of Controlled Substance – Meth, and for a Probation Violation – Possession of Controlled Substance – Meth. Strovink says Huff is expected to appear in Clackamas County Circuit Court for his arraignment on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. Articles for February 15, 2009 | Articles for February 16, 2009 | Articles for February 17, 2009 | googlec507860f6901db00.html Support Salem-News.com: Quick Links
