Slippery conditions have also caused vehicles to lose traction three miles south of Seaside, where crews are also clearing a crash scene. Use alternate routes, and expect delays. SPRINGFIELD - Motorists driving on Highway 126 East in the Vida and Blue River areas, Highway 126 West between Mapleton and Noti, and Highway 36 near Greenleaf should use extreme caution and be prepared to maneuver around downed trees. Several trees on those highways have come down since 6 a.m. Friday morning, and continue to fall. Highways in Lane, Linn, Benton and Lincoln counties are very slick. Icy road conditions are to blame for the road closure.ODOT crews will continue to monitor the road conditions. No estimated time when road will reopen, ODOT Region 2: DETROIT – A multiple vehicle crash involving semi-trucks has closed Oregon 22 at mile post 42, nine miles west of Detroit. Possible fuel spillage may require extended closure. Drivers are advised to use alternate routes. 2:59 PM Thursday- ODOT Region 5: Driving conditions extremely hazardous in Northeastern Oregon. Driving conditions are very hazardous throughout most of north east Oregon, with Umatilla and Morrow county areas reporting heavy snow with limited visibility and extremely slick roads. ODOT is advising motorists to avoid travel if possible as conditions are expected to get worse and highways could close at any time. 4:30 PM Thursday- ODOT Region 5: I-84 Westbound lanes open between La Grande and Pendleton. The Interstate 84 westbound lanes between La Grande and Pendleton are now open, however travel conditions are extremely hazardous with heavy snow fall throughout the area.
