Aumsville Woman Dies in Crash Monday

(AUMSVILLE, Ore.) - Marion County Deputies say an Aumsville woman died in a single car crash Monday night on West Stayton Road near Bates Road SE. Deputies responded to a single motor vehicle crash just south of the city of Aumsville.

The Driver, 45-year old Betty Lyn Osborne of Aumsville was identified as the deceased. Aumsville Fire and EMS had arrived on scene and confirmed and pronounced the driver as deceased before county deputies arrived.

They say the preliminary investigation suggests Ms. Osborne was traveling southbound on West Stayton Road where her vehicle left the roadway landing on its top in the ditch.

Family notifications were made prior to this press release. The investigation is continuing at this time.
