Suspect Pleads Not Guilty in Salem Burning Body Death

In Oregon, a conviction for Murder carries a life sentence with a minimum of 25 years in prison.

(SALEM) - Twenty-six year old Philip Michael Florek is a convicted sex offender, who faces charges of murder, abuse of a corpse and failure to register as a sex offender, in the death of 20-year-old June Inez "Candy" Kell.

Florek, was indicted by a Marion County grand jury in September in connection with Kell’s death.

Kell’s burning body was found Aug. 29th, 2006 by a Salem police officer beneath a 13th Street SE bridge.

Her body was examined by the State Medical Examiner and the cause of death was determined to be by homicidal violence.

I know him personally, and He threatened to kill my boyfriend because he wanted me to be with him instead, so I know he is violent, and capable of killing. this is a case of guilty unless proven innocent, and I am betting on guilty
