High Winds Down Trees and Cause Signal Failures in Salem

Citizens should report local flooding or downed trees and limbs to Public Works Dispatch at 503-588-6333.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Salem Parks and Public Works crews say that by 5:20 PM today, they have responded to at least thirteen downed trees or major limbs and eleven traffic signals that were out.

There has also been one incident of local flooding that was reported.

Mike Gotterba with Salem Public Works says Parks and Public Works have called in additional standby personnel to respond to the above incidents.

Another front and high winds are possible in the early morning hours.
