Salem, Willamette Valley Under Dense Fog Advisory

Today's forecast: Widespread dense fog, mainly before 10:00 AM. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 52.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for the mid-Willamette Valley until 10:00 AM this morning.

The National Weather Service says widespread fog will continue this morning across the southern and central Willamette Valley. Areas of dense fog can be expected with visibilities at or below one quarter of a mile. The fog will lift to a low cloud deck after 10:00 AM.

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduce to less than one quarter mile. If driving this morning -- SLOW DOWN, USE YOUR HEADLIGHTS, and leave Plenty of Distance between you and the vehicle in front of you.

Veteran's Day: A 50 percent chance of rain. Partly sunny, with a high near 52.

Monday: A chance of showers. Cloudy, with a high near 50.
