Pacific City Man Arrested for Murder in Missing Albany Fisherman Case

John Curtis Adkins has been missing since last July.

(PACIFIC CITY, Ore.) - 47-year old Erin Dean Rieman of Pacific City A Pacific City man is under arrest on Murder charges. Police say the arrest is connected to the disappearance of an Albany man missing since last July, who was the owner of a 47' fishing vessel.

The suspect was arrested in Oregon and is pending extradition to Washington State for arraignment related to the murder of 53-year old John Curtiss Adkins.

Arrests Made in Cornelius Murder

Officers from the Cornelius Police, along with officers from the Washington County Sheriff's Office and Hillsboro Police are continuing the investigation.

(CORNELIUS, Ore.) - Two suspects have been arrested in a murder investigation that occurred over the weekend, according to Commander Ed Jensen with Cornelius Police.

The investigation stems from the death of 19-year old Eduardo Andrade-Alcanter of Hillsboro was killed on October 2, 2009.

Lubbock, Texas Murder Suspect Arrested in Bend

One of the man's alleged victims is still missing.

(BEND, Ore.) - Murder suspect Mickey Weldon Patterson Oregon State Police and Bend Police Department assisted Lubbock, Texas police in the arrest Wednesday in Bend, Oregon of a murder suspect wanted in connection with the 2006 disappearance and murder of two women.

Lieutenant Gregg Hastings with OSP, says today at approximately 12:00 noon, detectives from the Oregon State Police and Bend Police Department arrested 59-year old Mickey Weldon Patterson outside of a Bend-area residence located at 31 SE Benaiah Circle.

Ron Noble Talks About Recovery of Murder Victim Brooke Wilberger (VIDEO)

The former Corvallis Police Lieutenant says he is relieved by the recovery of Brooke's remains, calling it bittersweet news.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Brooke Wilberger McMinnville Police Chief Ron Noble was a Corvallis Police Lieutenant when Brooke Wilberger disappeared in May 2004. Her remains were recovered in recent days after a confession from her killer, Joel Courtney. He avoided a death sentence by revealing the location of her remains.

Murderers would be turned in left and right if the people knew it would lead to a realistic reward. Every murder arrest deserves a real reward.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Wanted poster for murderer As a career news reporter, I have often wondered why Americans place such a low value on life. It seems that way when you think about it. When a person disappears or is murdered, their cases often go unsolved for years, decades, or permanently.

I can not count the number of times I have seen $1000 and $5000 rewards for information leading to Murder convictions. It seems like a pathetic appraisal of human life and it begs the question, is that all we are worth?

Information From Murder Suspect Leads to Discovery of Brooke Wilberger`s Remains

As a part of the plea agreement, the Benton County District Attorney was able to obtain information necessary to locate and recover Brooke Wilberger's remains.

(CORVALLIS, Ore.) - Brooke Wilberger On May 24, 2004, Brooke Wilberger was abducted by Joel Courtney who subsequently murdered her. Despite extensive efforts, Brooke Wilberger's remains were not recovered during the course of the criminal investigation.

Joel Courtney was charged with the Aggravated Murder of Brooke Wilberger, and the case was set for trial beginning February 2010.

(NEW YORK) - The scene of Hashim Ibrahim Awad's death A documentary film chronicling a Camp Pendleton squad convicted in the 2006 kidnapping and killing of an Iraqi man debuts in New York this week and will be screened in Oceanside next month.

"Article 32" was produced primarily by Don Sikorski, who began working on the project two years ago, after the seven Marines and a Navy medical corpsman were prosecuted for the killing of Hashim Ibrahim Awad, a retired Iraqi policeman and father of 11.

Three Arrested in Beaverton Murder

The victim, 18-year old Alex Hernandez, died late Tuesday, as a result of the injuries sustained during his attack.

(BEAVERTON, Ore.) - Counterclockwise from top left: 23-year old Nicholas Josue Sias, 22-year old Duane Everett Corbett and 18-year old Maciel Munoz Beaverton Police were called to the report of a stabbing on SW Hall Boulevard near SW Colony Lane August 31, 2009. Three suspects had reportedly attacked an 18-year old male with a knife.

Beaverton Police have arrested three men in connection with the crime. Two now face Murder charges and the third was arrested on unrelated charges of Sex Abuse.

Portland Police Officers Investigate Suspicious Death

Portland Police Homicide Detectives are on the scene of a suspicious death in the area of the 6900 Block of North Fessenden.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Death investigation Portland Police officers responded to a residence Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. in the 6900 Block of North Fessenden and found a deceased 50-year-old woman inside an apartment.

Portland Police Detective Mary Wheat, says Homicide detectives were called to the scene to investigate the death due to suspicious circumstances. "Detectives will be at the scene throughout the night investigating this incident," Wheat said.

Body of Man Who Died of Gunshot Wound Discovered in Campground
