The Sun Tzu of Palestinian Resistance
Donald Corder for Salem-News.com
The Goldstone Report represents the highest and most prestigious leverage of the Palestinian initiative throughout their 60 years of oppression and genocide.
(WASHINGTON D.C.) -
Justice Richard Goldstone’s Report ‘Fact Finding Mission on the Gaza Conflict’ documents and declares to the world Israel does indeed have the political will to relentlessly disregard international law.
Israel's PM recently toured a German-made submarine that can launch missiles carrying nuclear warheads, as Netanyahu simultaneously threatens war with Iran and is suspected in the destabilization of Pakistan.

VA and Army Medical Care: More Dangerous than IED`s It`s Also More Futile
Dr. Phil Leveque Salem-News.com
Because medical cannabis is legal in Oregon I ended up with about one thousand PTSD Vets from all recent wars as legal MMJ users.
(MOLALLA, Ore.) -
Along with other writers here, I have repeatedly posted articles of the same tone and I have received dozens of emails agreeing with me or commenting further in the same vein.
I have had very few comments from Vets stating that they had received good or even adequate care.

Descartes` Disaster
Daniel Johnson Salem-News.com
All Science and no Spirit makes life sterile, meaningless and pathological. It's long past the time for Mankind to reclaim the essence of his humanity.
(CALGARY, Alberta) -
Have you ever looked back on your life and thought how much different, better perhaps, it would be today if you had done A instead of B, or B instead of A? Can humankind do the equivalent? We can’t redo, but we can undo.
Before you can solve a problem, you must first understand it. When we look at the evolution of the human race, at the history of violence, warfare, and man's inhumanity to man, there seems to be no pattern or a single thing onto which we can place our focus.

Army Psychiatrists: PTSD & Major Hasan - Retread
Dr. Phil Leveque Salem-News.com
It's not a personality disorder.
(MOLALLA, Ore.) -
The Fort Hood Massacre leaves many questions in my mind. I can look at this and think about it from several viewpoints. I did have a year of psychology in college and a course of psychiatry in medical school. By any standard that is not enough.
I did have advanced psychology courses in the Infantry as a Private Combat Infantryman. I was convinced that most of my sergeants, junior officers and even farther up the brass chain were off kilter.

Purdue Pharma Responds to Salem-News.com Article
Marianne Skolek Salem-News.com
A Purdue Pharma official wrote to "urge" me to remember the millions with poorly controlled pain as I pursue my advocacy agenda; it is an insult. I choose to remember those suffering with the loss of family members and those dealing with hopeless addiction.
(MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.) -
I received the below email this morning from Russell K. Portenoy, MD in response to my recent article in the Salem-News.com.
I chose to reply to Portenoy's email via Salem-News rather than personally because I feel there is an obligation for the victims of OxyContin who no longer have a voice to be heard.

Palestine and the Art of War
Bishop Don Corder for Salem-News.com
Energizing access to both the affluent and humble contributor of funds is the strength of the Israeli model and it behooves being studied, employed and dismantled utilizing strategic grassroots operations.
(WASHINGTON D.C.) -
Perhaps the most profound tribute to General Sun Tzu’s work entitled the Art of War is written 1400 years later in the 1988 Vietnam Magazine’s interview with Colonel Harry G. Summers.
Colonel Summers shared the following exchange, “But America’s fighting forces did not fail us. You know, you never beat us on the battlefield,” I told my North Vietnamese counterpart during negotiations in Hanoi a week before the fall of Saigon. He pondered that remark a moment and then replied, “That may be so, but it is also irrelevant.”
