Cascade Foods Sued For Firing Woman with Restraining Order Against Co-Worker

Female Worker Fired After Reporting Sexual Harassment by Co-Worker, Federal Agency Charges.

(ALBANY, Ore.) - The EEOC lawsuit says a female employee was fired for placing a restraining order against her co-worker who physically and verbally threatened her safety.

It is reported that she obtained the order because the man hit her, and that Cascade asked her to have the restraining order changed so that her abuser could continue to work for the company.

Bulgarian reporter Maria Nikolaeva was threatened with having acid thrown in her face. Filipino journalist Joey Estriber has been missing since 2006… What do these journalists and many others have in common?
