<title> Boxers Let Lead Go as Warriors Come Back to Win in Overtime</title>
<description> A 51 percent shooting performance from the field and a 55 percent effort from three-point range was not enough for Pacific to get past Corban Friday night as the Warriors surged in the second half and went on to a 110-106 overtime victory over the Boxers in men's basketball action at the Pacific Athletic Center.

The Boxers (1-1) shot 56 percent in the first half and enjoyed a 14-point advantage early in the second period before the Warriors (4-0) surged to take an eight-point lead with 1:50 to go.

<title> Hornaday Makes the Save of the Day Finishing Third in Texas</title>
<description> Ron Hornaday and the No. 33 Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) team began the weekend with a plan and stuck to that plan, coming out of Texas Motor Speedway with a third-place finish and197 points ahead of Matt Crafton with two races remaining in the 2009 season. Hornaday led three times for a total of 36 laps.

Hornaday battled with Kyle Busch and Crafton for the race win but the No. 33 truck became too loose at the end of the race. Unable to catch Busch to battle for the win, the No. 33 team did what they had to do in the championship battle.

<title> Truth of the Matter: Moving on Past the Loss</title>
<description> The truth read a 47-20 final score, a defense that gave up 613 yards and a very humiliating defeat at Autzen Stadium. The truth showed that the Trojans got beat embarrassingly bad, worse than any USC team in Coach Pete Carroll's nine seasons.

But above all, the truth is that the game is lost, yet the season is not. The truth of this night and the truth of the future don't have to be the same.

<title> Oregon State Women's Soccer Falls to No. 19 Washington State 1-0</title>
<description> No. 19 Washington State connected on the only goal of the match in the 40th minute as the Oregon State women’s soccer team fell to the Cougars, 1-0, in Pac-10 Conference action on Friday night. With the loss, Oregon State falls to 10-6-1 on the season, 2-4-0 in league play, as Washington State improves to 12-4-1, 4-1-1 in Pac-10 action.

“We played well for a majority of the match, but we let our guard down for about 20 minutes in the first half,” head coach Linus Rhode said. “You cannot do that against good teams like Washington State and they made us pay. It’s a disappointing loss, but we have to bounce back and be ready to play on Sunday.”
