<title> Will Israel Lift the Blockade and Save Gaza from Drowning?</title>
<description> During the last six days, nearly 7,000 Palestinians have been displaced in the Gaza strip, forced to evacuate their homes due to heavy rains from the winter storm, called Alexa, which caused floods and torrents of raging water through the streets.

"Large swathes of northern Gaza are a disaster area with water as far as the eye can see." Mother Nature is not the only force causing havoc and chaos for Gaza.

<title> Pledge to DEMAND an End to the Siege in Gaza</title>
<description> Snowy weather since Wednesday December 11 — the most severe since 1878 — has further crippled daily life among the Palestinian people of the Gaza Strip and parts of the West Bank near Jerusalem.

The central responsibility for the problems this has brought lies with the Israeli occupation, which conducts a policy of deliberate and calculated neglect when it comes to maintaining essential infrastructure. This is aimed at further pressuring our people to leave their homeland.

	        <title> Snow and Subservience</title>
<description> It is snowing here in Palestine. My visitors from Gaza (a child being treated and his father) wish to go back to their family even though their wife tells us that they have no water and no electricity and that parts of the refugee camp that they live in is flooded (in Rafah).

But we are all concerned for the even more precarious position of refugees from Syria (both Palestinian and Syrians who escaped the fighting and now live in tents in a snow blizzard).
