(OREGON CITY) - Oregon City Police are looking for two suspects in a home invasion robbery that happened early this morning at 12:12 AM. Lt. Lisa Nunes with the Oregon City Police Department, says officers responded to a report of a panic alarm on Nevin Court in Oregon City.
"As officers were arriving they were advised by dispatch that there had been a home invasion robbery at this residence and the victim was calling in from a neighbors home," Nunes said.
Officers learned that the residents had come home on the evening of December 4th at approximately 10:00 PM, and met the robbers as they entered the residence.
"They were immediately met by two armed male subjects that ordered them to the ground. The victims were robbed at gun point and bound. Suspects were able to obtain information from the victim regarding a jewelry store he owns in Portland and took keys and codes to the store."
Nunes says officers contacted Portland PB while on the scene and had Portland officers check the victim's jewelry store located at 304 SW Washington Street. Portland PB confirmed that the jewelry store had been burglarized and no alarms had sounded. It is unknown when the burglary occurred, but possibly between the hours of 10:00 PM and midnight.
The suspects were described as male, under six feet tall, 20 years of age wearing ski masks and black clothing.
The case continues to be investigated by Oregon City Police Detectives.
