Police say speed maybe a factor in the crash.
(SALEM, Ore. ) - Salem police are investigating a Wednesday car crash that killed a 69 year-old Salem man.
Salem police say Gerald Freerksen was a passenger in a car driven by his wife, 66 year-old Linda Freerksen, when they were rear-ended by another vehicle on Highway 22.
The other driver, 23-year-old Nicholas Miller, has not been charged in the crash. Police say speed may have played a role in the crash.
