Oregon Home Invasion Robbery Suspects Arrested in Boise and Ontario

Investigators say two other suspects related to this investigation were arrested in November.

(ONTARIO, Ore.) - Police say two suspects wanted in connection with a November 2007 home invasion robbery of an Ontario-area residence were arrested Thursday in Boise and Ontario. Investigators say they are seeking any additional information regarding the suspects that could help in the ongoing investigation.

Oregon State Police Sergeant Mark Duncan says the arrests were made on warrants issued after the investigation of a home invasion robbery that happened last November 22nd in the 3900 block of Highway 201 in Ontario.

Oregon State Police were assisted during this investigation by Malheur County District Attorney's Office, Malheur County Sheriff's Office, Ontario Police Department, Nyssa Police Department, and Idaho State Police Criminal Investigation Unit.

Idaho State Police arrested 38-year old Andrew Aaron Tuck of Boise, near a Boise-area restaurant yesterday. Tucker was taken into custody and lodged in Ada County Jail with no bail as a Fugitive from Justice based upon an Oregon arrest warrant charging. He faces 2 counts of Burglary in the First Degree, 4 counts of Criminal Conspiracy, Aggravated Theft in the First Degree and 2 counts of Robbery in the Second Degree.

Also yesterday, Oregon State Police arrested 55-year old Muoi Thi Mercer of Fruitland, Idaho at the Ontario Area Command office. Mercer is also known as Muoi Thi Stone, according to police.

She was lodged in the Malheur County Jail with bail set at $150,000, charged 2 counts of Burglary in the First Degree, 4 counts of Criminal Conspiracy, Aggravated Theft in the First Degree and 2 counts of Robbery in the Second Degree.

Investigators say two other suspects related to this investigation, 26-year old Rocky Javonnie Vitale and his cousin, 25-year old Zachariah Joel Vitale, were arrested by Mesquite, Nevada Police Department during a traffic stop November 25th 2007.
