Marketing Exchange Luncheon Attracts New Business to Your Door

(SALEM, Ore.) - The Salem Convention and Visitors Association (SCVA) is holding their Marketing Exchange luncheon Thursday, March 6th, 2008 from 11:45 AM – 1:15 PM at Willamette Valley Vineyards, RSVPs and prepayment are required.

SCVA’s Marketing Exchange will provide the opportunity for businesses to gain knowledge of the visitor industry and how to tap into Salem’s lucrative $226 million industry that employs 2,400 people.

The Salem Convention and Visitors Association uses a myriad marketing strategies to attract leisure visitors as well as conference and event business to Salem and businesses are encouraged to participate through creative partnerships; local and regional tourism and convention marketing opportunities; public relations efforts; national media outreach; and Marketing Exchange events that will be held six times a year.

Salem’s Mayor Janet Taylor will open the Marketing Exchange and Todd Davidson, the CEO of Travel Oregon will present the keynote address. Jim Bernau, President of Willamette Valley Vineyards will raffle a private cellar tour and wine tasting.
