Woman charged with first and second degree murder in death of infant found last week.

(OCEAN CITY, Md. ) - Ocean City police have found the remains of three more infants in and outside of the home of a woman who was arrested and charged last week in the death of an infant.

Ocean City Police investigators searched the home of 37-year-old Christy Freeman Thursday night after obtaining a search warrant.

They discovered a child’s body wrapped in a blanket inside the home.

During the search of the home, police also found a garbage bag hidden within a trunk.

The trunk was located in Freeman’s bedroom.

Inside the garbage bag were three smaller plastic bags.

Two contained infant human remains.

Freeman appeared in a Worcester County court Monday wearing shackles.

The judge delayed her hearing until she had time to speak with an attorney.

The other contained what investigators believe to be a placenta.

On Friday afternoon, police seized a small motor home from Freeman’s driveway.

After executing a search warrant on the motor home, investigators discovered another garbage bag containing infant human remains.

Over the weekend, police have secured the crime scene while preparing the grounds for excavation.

Ocean City Police, along with the FBI’s Evidence

Response Team, will begin their search of the grounds this morning.

This detailed process may take up to three days.

Police are utilizing every investigative tool available to locate any remaining evidence.
