ODOT hopes to be able to open at least one southbound lane by about 7:00 AM this morning.
(EUGENE, Ore. ) - A semi roll-over just before 4:00 AM this morning has CLOSED all southbound lanes of Interstate 5 one mile south of the Coburg interchange, near Beltline (milepost 197).
The semi was carrying lumber — two by fours — and the load spilled onto the highway.
A detour has been established at the Coburg interchange (milepost 198), taking traffic to Beltline and then back to I-5, but motorists in the Eugene area should expect long delays.
