The man's bail is more than two and a half million dollars.
(PRINEVILLE, Ore.) - A Crook County man was arrested by Oregon State Police with the assistance of Crook County Sheriff's Office Monday afternoon on multiple counts of rape, sodomy, coercion and domestic assault.
Oregon State Police say the investigation started two months ago when OSP was contacted by a local law enforcement agency related to information learned after the suspect applied for employment. Investigators are interested in talking to anyone who may have information regarding the suspect.
Monday at approximately 3:30 PM, OSP and CCSO arrested 41-year old Keith Alan Teeter without incident as he got off work in the Prineville area.
The allegations to this point involve a known victim. Teeter was lodged in the Crook County Jail on the following charges:
* Rape in the First Degree (30 counts)
* Sodomy in the First Degree (30 counts)
* Coercion (5 counts)
* Domestic Assault in the Fourth Degree (5 counts)
According to CCSO, bail is set at $2,550,000 and an initial court appearance is tentatively set for May 1st at 1:00 PM in Crook County Circuit Court.
The investigation is continuing and additional details are not being released at this time.
