(AMITY) - A Salem-area woman received non-life threatening injuries Tuesday morning after the commercial truck she was driving transporting small cement blocks rolled off Amity-Hopewell Highway about 1/2 mile north of Hopewell.

The load of cinder blocks spilled off the trailer into a field bordering the highway.

Preliminary investigation by Oregon State Police Trooper Mark McDougal indicates on Tuesday just after 11:30 AM, a 1999 Freightliner truck driven by Rachelle Bowen, from Salem, drove off Amity-Hopewell Highway near milepost 13 and rolled over.

The truck was towing two flatbed semi-trailers loaded with small cinder blocks that spilled onto a bordering field.

Bowen was using safety restraints and received non-life threatening injuries.

Oregon State Police troopers from the McMinnville Area Command office are continuing the investigation.
