Police say the investigation dismantled a midlevel Heroin Drug Trafficking Organization that was distributing Heroin throughout the area while carrying firearms.
(HILLSBORO, Ore.) - Washington County's Tactical Negotiations Team served two separate search warrants this morning at 4:00 a.m. Sgt. Bob Ray with the Washington County Sheriff's Office, says one warrant was served at 3660 NW 313th Avenue in Hillsboro, and another warrant was served at a second residence located at 10037 NW Iron Ridge Place in North Plains.

"During the execution of the search warrant at the North Plains residence, 19 year old Jonathan Hess brandished an AK-47 assault rifle from a second floor window as the tactical team was about to make entry into the house. He says that during the search of the residence, investigators seized an AK-47 assault rifle, two rifles, two handguns, about an ounce of Heroin worth about $1,300 and approx. $5,000 cash.
"At the Hillsboro residence additional Heroin was seized. Two firearms were recovered out of a vehicle located at a third residence in Hillsboro."
