Yamhill Deputies Arrest Willamina Bank Robbery Suspect (PHOTOS)

The suspect was arrested shortly after the robbery according to police.

(WILLAMINA, Ore.) - A bank robbery suspect made it 130 minutes with a wad of cash in his pocket, but gave it up to Deputies when arrested. Yamhill County Sheriff Jack Crabtree said that 33-year old Joshua Cabe Nordman of Sheridan, was taken into custody without incident by his Deputies at 12:57 p.m. today.

"Nordman is initially being charged with one count of Second Degree Robbery, a measure 11 offense, which carries with it $150,000 bail".

The robbery at the Willamina branch of Bank of America at 322 NE Main Street occurred at 10:23 a.m. this morning.

Yamhill County Sheriff Jack Crabtree said the man, now identified as Josh Nordman, presented a threatening note to the cashier before fleeing on foot.

"Three employees were working in the bank at the time, though there were customers" Crabtree said.

"Fortunately bank surveillance camera's captured clear images of the suspect.

The robbery is being investigated by the Yamhill County Sheriff's Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
