(ASTORIA, Ore.) - Coast Guard officials say the search has been suspended for a man at Tongue Point who went missing Sunday after the boat he was in struck a submerged object and capsized.
The Clatsop County Sheriff's Office has dispatched a dive team to the area hoping to find some sign of the missing man.
The Coast Guard and two Good Samaritan vessels searched the water for approximately six hours after learning the man and another boater were ejected from their boat after they struck a submerged object.
Officials say one of the two boaters was pulled from the water by a Good Samaritan, but the other could not be located.

Neither man was wearing a lifejacket.
