Exodus Tyson was found by her 7-year old brother, who in turn informed his mom in another part of the house.

(PHOENIX, Az. ) - Media sources report that the 4-year old daughter of former boxing champ Mike Tyson, Exodus Tyson, was discovered hanging by a treadmill extension cord cable around 10:30 a.m. Monday morning.

Exodus is on life support equipment at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix.

There are few details at this point. The AP quotes Phoenix Police Sgt. Andy Hill saying the "tragic accident" involving an exercise machine at Tyson's home was reported Monday morning.

Hill told FOX News, "Somehow she was playing on this treadmill, and there’s a cord that hangs under the console – it’s kind of a loop. Either she slipped or put her head in the loop, but it acted like a noose, and she was obviously unable to get herself off of it."

They also reported that the girl was found by her 7-year old brother, who in turn informed his mom in another part of the house.

She took the girl off the cable, called 911 and initiated lifesaving resuscitation until paramedics arrived.

Mike Tyson was out of town when the injury happened, and he quickly returned to Phoenix after learning about his daughter's accident.
